I first tried Alexandra on the recommendation of a friend who said she wore Enigma and Alexandra and loved them both. I had smelled Alexandra on her and just had to try it. Later that week, I was shopping in one of the more upscale dept. stores and found it at the fragrance counter. I bought my first bottle then in 1976 and continu4ed to buy it until I had trouble finding it. I had heard that it had been discontinued and was unable to locate it in the early nineties and gave up. So I was pleasantly surprised to see it here. When I bought it my bottle was a metal dark mauve color with gold on the top of the lid and the new bottles are a definite improvement. Can't wait to get it again. It's a light, slightly flowery fragrance and seems to smell good on most.

The best part about Alexandra Spray Essence is you still have fragrance at 7:00 pm even though you put it on at 7:00 am. It stays with you. It is the only fragrance that people stop me and say, "What is that fragrance?" I wish it was easier to find. It seems I am always searching for a deal. You will think you have a supplier and the next time you order it has gone up $10. I do not deal with those kind of suppliers. I keep hunting until I find one and pay the price that I want to pay.
